HOW OUR DOORS WORK

Most of our Sliding Doors operate as a floor mounted / weight bearing system with inclusive anti-jump technology.* These guide the doors along the floor track making sure they don’t jump out of the track fields, this also helps them slide alot more smoothly. Depending on what door ranges are selected, will determine the choice of bottom wheel, from our ‘flag system’ to our ‘sprung loaded’ suspension wheels.

The Switch door is available in both floor mounted and top hung designs. The top hung fixing can be fitted to either the ceiling or walls, removing the need for a floor track; ideal for room dividers or walk-in wardrobes.

Due to the size and weight of these products, we recomend always installing any door / wardrobe with 2 people (or more).

Door-Installation-Order

FLOOR MOUNTED / weight bearing doors

Step 1: Install the back door(s) first, inserting the top of the door into the back field.
Step 2: Manoeuvre the bottom wheels into the back groove of the bottom track, making sure both wheels are fully engaged.
Step 3: Adjust the door level with the bottom wheel adjustment screws.

Repeat on all other doors, addressing the front door(s) last.

Please note: We recomend pushing the bottom wheel up into the door, so that no uneeded preasure is put on this component.

Switch Top hung doors

The guide and Soft-Close units need to already be inserted into the top track.

Step 1: Below the top track will be X2 bolts attached to the guides / wheels. Position the top of the door to these, slotting the bolts into the bracket.
Step 2: Once in place, slightly lift the door so that the ‘Floor Guide’ sits inside of the groove at the bottom of the door.
Step 3: Tighten the bolts at the top of the door to level up as well as fix into place.

Repeat on all other doors, addressing the front door(s) last.

Please see our installation guides for detailed fitting instructions for both Floor Mounted and Top Hung doors.
